Är ni redo? Det hoppas vi verkligen. För i maj kommer vi för att skapa en kväll av kaos på Monument 031 på Ringön.

Klubben FINSKT DISCO bjuder på det bästa ur den finska disco skatten och levererar leverera äkta finsk Disco fiiling! Finsk disco dansas i olika stilar: fötterna kan till exempel landa bredvid varandra eller glida förbi i slutet av figurer med staccatosteg, men det viktigaste är att aldrig tappa känslan – disko fiilinki.

Kvällen kommer innehålla liveband, karaoke, DJ:s, munkar, lotto och hemliga akter som presenteras vartefter.

Live: Amorellas Pilar, bandet som tolkar finska klassiker av olika genrer- från schlager och avantgarde rock till visor och pop- i sin egen punkiga tappning. Musiker: Mirella Hautala, Nikolai Äystö Lindholm, Jussi Haavisto och denna gång med gästspel av Malmfältens stolthet gitarristen Torbjörn Ömalm.

Polera Nokia-stövlarna, dra på skinnvästen, värm upp krustången och gör dig redo för DISCO TANSSI – Det kommer att bli hett som i bastun!

Eventet är ett samarbete mellan Finskt Disco och Gbg:n suomalaiset nuoret, Göteborgs finska unga.

After a successful premiere we’re back with another night of blissful dancing!

This time it’s our outmost pleasure to present you with the disco mastermind Blende to join us on May 2nd. Currently signed on Studio Barnhus with his most recent release Rodeo EP, jam-packed with good tunes that have been rinsed by us here and there all over the town. Currently residing in Athens, Greece, he will fly all the way to come join us to showcase a set full of silly good disco and arpeggios to get hypnotised by.

And yes, he’s already promised us he got loads of new tunes yet to be released that can be expected to be heard exclusively at our night! As previous our friends at Monument 031 have your back with drinks, food and arcade machines!

Det blir en maxad kväll med två nyskapande akter som, på sina egna sätt, rör sig mellan olika musikaliska uttryck och vägrar att låta sig begränsas av enkla etiketter – precis som vår vision med Gråskala.

Den Köpenhamnsbaserade duon Lust for Youth är känd för sitt melodiska, synthdrivna sound, ofta kombinerat med en stämningsladdad och medryckande nostalgi. Deras självbetitlade album Lust For Youth (2019) hyllades som ”bold and bright” och har en självklar plats inom modern synthpop. På senare släpp har de rört sig vidare, singlarna ”Accidental Win” (2022) och ”Giorgia” (2023) vidareutvecklade det stämningsfulla, atmosfäriska uttrycket, medan ”Blue Suzuki” (2023) utforskade en mer ambient och drömsk ljudbild.  Duons kommande album All Worlds, ett samarbete med Croatian Amor, släpps den 7 mars 2025 via Sacred Bones Records och utforskar teman som tillhörighet och samhörighet.

Från Barcelonas undergroundscen kommer Dame Area, en duo som gör vad som kallats allt från Latin EBM till Techno Punk eller Industrial Postpunk. De skapar en unik ljudvärld, där drivande rytmer och skärande syntar kombineras med suggestiv sång – med ekon av legendariska band som Einstürzende Neubauten, Throbbing Gristle och Suicide.

Deras senaste album, ”Toda la verdad sobre Dame Area” (2024), släppt på Mannequin Records, fångar den råa energin som kännetecknar bandet live. Förra året gjorde duon ett hyllat liveframträdande på festivalen Kalabalik på Tyrolen och nu kommer de äntligen till Göteborg. Förbered er på en intensiv upplevelse!

Bird And Beast (SE)
De beskriver sig själva som en mardrömspop-duo som omger sig av reverb, oljud, tunga basar och melankoliska toner. En ondskefull men vacker blandning av 90-tals Trip-hop, Darkwave och 80-talets industrisynthar. Vi älskar det!

DJ: Innan, efter och mellan liveakterna finner ni Gråskala-crew bakom skivspelarna.

With roots in underground alternative parties in Tehran and a growing reputation for curating and DJing at alternative club nights and queer events in Stockholm, Mira brings a unique edge that keeps the dance floor spellbound. She crafts enchanting, masochist dance floors, effortlessly weaving together everything from OG post-punk goth classics to darkwave, dark synth, EBM, and all things dark, dancey, and cunty.
