After 35 years of creativity and Death Metal mayhem – the time has come to bring The Crown’s journey to an end.
2026 will not only mark our final year of live shows – it will be the final chapter for the band. We want to go out on our own terms, celebrating everything this band has stood for: energy, passion, and the love of extreme music.

Most importantly, this farewell is for you – our fans.

Your dedication and loyalty have kept this band alive for over three decades. Every show in 2026 will be our way of saying thank you for all the years of support, the endless energy from the crowds, and for standing with us through every era of The Crown.

Throughout 2026, we’ll perform Farewell shows around the world, meeting fans one last time. Each show will be a tribute to the past, the present, and the unstoppable spirit that’s fueled The Crown since day one.

Everything has its time – and this is ours.

Thank you for 35 years of loyalty, chaos, and Metal.

At a juvenile age of 14-20 SARCATOR released their first demo tape, “Visions of Purgatory”, via the American label Redefining Darkness Records in 2019. Just two years later the quadrumvirate got nominated for best rock/metal album for the Swedish music award P3 Guld with their 2020’s self-titled debut release for the same label. After releasing their 2nd album, “Alkahest”, via Black Lion Records in 2022, SARCATOR finally got a proper chance to play live, captivating crowds with their intense, blackened live shows. With their current line-up fully committed to the band despite their young age (all members are between 19 and 25) it was time for them to record their 3rd album which will be out via Century Media Records in early 2025 and bring SARCATOR to the forefront of an emergent, highly determined new generation of Scandinavian extreme metal bands.

In Memorian Tompa Lindberg 6/12

November 14th marked the 30 year anniversary of the iconic, globally influentual and genre-defining masterpiece that is At The Gates ”Slaughter of The Soul”.

Sadly, the voice behind the timeless classic did not make it to see the anniversary, as Tomas ’Tompa’ Lindberg passed away from cancer on September 16th. As a small token of appreciation for the legendary legacy of both Tompa and the album, we hereby invite you to a night in his honour on December 6th – where all ticket sales will go directly to Cancerfonden and the Gardens of Grief-fund set up there by Elis Markskog of Malmö Massacre.

A very special lineup of friends – Dark Tranquility, The Crown and The Halo Effect – will take the stage to perform, honoring the influence of the iconic sound Tompa helped form – and celebrate the life of one of the best to ever have done it.

R.I.P Tompa Lindberg.

PLEASE NOTE: this is a celebration of Tompas legacy – not full-set concerts. The aim is to gather friends, fans and family alike and celebrate the music and honour our friend. Please join us if you can.
